Titbits Catering is run by Paula Young and Sammy Gill, both trained vegan/vegetarian chefs with many years experience and excellent references.
Paula Young has been working in the industry for over 16 years and has worked in well known vegetarian restaurants in both Australia and the UK. She started her catering career in Brighton at the award winning restaurant Terre a Terre before travelling to Australia and New Zealand. She has travelled extensively through Asia- using Asian influences in her own unique fusion cooking style.
On returning to the UK she worked as head chef at Lancrigg Country House Hotel in Grasmere, where she helped develop The Green Valley Organic Restaurant, the UK's first certified organic vegetarian restaurant.
Sammy Gills passion for cooking began in various community projects and cafes. She spent years cooking for the love of it for many different events from gatherings which she co-ordinated and cooked for upto 500 people to benefit cabarets involving 3 course meals and entertainment. Her first professional catering position was as a co-ordinator and chef at the Tree House cafe at the Bradford Centre for Non-Violence, a non-profit indepentantly run social enterprise.
She then gained position as sous chef and worked alongside Paula Young at Lancrigg Hotel where they both slowly developed the idea of creating something together.
Now based in Brighton - covering Brighton, Sussex and the South East both Paula and Sammy bring you Titbits Catering-
